This list is to help you with packing your bag for your hospital stay.

For your admission

• Your referral note
• Your medical insurance certificate
• Your identity card/passport
• Your insurer’s consent to provide cover (private patients)

For your treatment

• The results of investigations from your physician making the referral
• Medication for specific diseases prescribed by your physician(e.g. for depression, Parkinson’s disease, convulsion disorders)
• Drug administration schedule
• Special dressings (e.g. for stoma) or incontinence pads
• Vaccination certificate (if available)
• X-ray images (if available)
• Pacemaker certificate (if applicable)
• Allergy pass (if applicable)

For your hospital stay

• Light loose clothing, if possible open in the area of the sternum
• For bra sizes B and C, a sports bra with wide straps which can be opened at the front
• Toiletries for personal hygiene and shaving, and cosmetics (towels will be provided by us)
• Personal items such as glasses, hearing aid etc.
• Money (e.g. to pay for the multimedia card for telephone and TV use in your room)

Valuables should better be left at home.
