The expectations of the MediClin Heart Center Lahr/Baden regarding the performance of its personnel are high. Only by specifically targeted qualifications and “lifelong learning” of the members of staff can a high quality of patient care be permanently ensured.
Continuous transfer of knowledge and the pooling of competences are a fundamental aspect of personnel development. This is ensured by the provision of numerous in-house and external further training and continuing education opportunities and by specific seminars and congresses held by the central MediClin-academy.
Internal medicine and cardiology
A strict system of rotation has proved successful in the cardiology department providing the medical staff with comprehensive training and further professional education. In this way, members of staff are familiarized with all non-invasive and invasive cardiological procedures.
